Museum Board

In late 2024, the City Council voted to form a Museum Board to care for and maintain the Hazleton School/City Museum. The museum was originally a one room schoolhouse located in the northeast area of Hazleton Township. In the 1940’s, the building was moved into town near the Hazleton High School. After the merging of the Hazleton and Oelwein school districts, the building was later restored to be the museum.
