Hazleton Kids Christmas Shopping Spree
The Hazleton Commercial Club is sponsoring a Kids Christmas Shopping Spree on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the OLD Fire Station from 11-3 pm.
Children are asked to come prepared with a shopping list of names of family members for whom they want to purchase gifts. They will only be allowed one time to shop so their list needs to be complete when they start shopping. A shopping partner will accompany them to do their shopping and guide them to the payment table after which they will come to the wrapping table. When all their gifts have been wrapped, the children will be escorted over to the Legion Hall to visit Santa Claus and receive a treat bag from the Commercial Club.
While the parents are waiting for the children to finish their shopping, they may socialize with others, enjoy refreshments, or watch Santa visiting with the children waiting to do their Christmas shopping. Parents may do some shopping on Sunday from 1-3 pm. However, there will be NO wrapping of presents on Sunday.
