Easy to find and access, this gorgeous area along Otter Creek is the perfect place to sit for hours and watch nature unfold. With 100 acres available this area is one of the larger preserves in Buchanan County. Otter Creek Wildlife Preserve is located at the western edge of Hazleton, with access off of Benton Street West in Hazleton.

Nibeck Wildlife Preserve

nibeck_borderThe Nibeck Wildlife Preserve features 40 acres of timber with a hiking trail, creeks and a marsh area. The Preserve is located in the northeast corner of Hazleton with access to the hiking trail being found on North Street East in Hazleton.  It is open year-around from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm. Hunting, trapping and vehicles are prohibited.
